Ravun
The engineDiscovers compact decision programs from data, from an existing model, or from a simulator, including from a customer's own components.
For us, AI stands for Applied Intelligence: tools that put compact, readable, provable intelligence directly where the work happens, on a server, in a browser or on a chip.
Our core technology, Ravun, discovers the program behind a decision and compiles it into a few kilobytes of code. The result runs in microseconds, needs no cloud call, and can be read and audited line by line.
Technology keeps getting heavier. Every year models get bigger, data centres use more power, and simple questions travel further to get an answer. Take a yes-or-no call on a support ticket. Today it often goes across the internet to a general model with billions of parameters, runs in a data centre, and comes back later than it needs to.
We think most of that weight is waste. Most problems don’t need the biggest tool available. They need the right one, running close to where the answer is used.
We started Birger AI to take the waste out. That means smaller models, less energy and faster answers, without being worse at the job.
Software that makes technology cheaper to run, faster to respond and lighter on energy. Our work rests on three ideas:
Discovers compact decision programs from data, from an existing model, or from a simulator, including from a customer's own components.
One repeated decision, compiled: routing, triage, filtering, control.
Decisions straight from pixels: screen agents, game players.
Tell us about it, and we will show you what Ravun makes of it.
